What this camp might lack in 5 star hotel lodging they more than make up for in personal attention to campers. They remember every camper by name, send them birthday cards, and make sure each one is recognized as a VERY special person. They have been doing this for 35 years with an impeccable safety record. PREP Track & Field/Cross Country Camp - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Prep runners will enhance their running and speed development at the Brebeuf Jesuits Track and St. Vincent Health Field, and also on one of the few, true Cross Country courses in the state. The running workshop is designed to help ALL athletes in ALL sports improve their speed, agility, and coordination by doing plyometric drills, speed chutes, bungee, and drills designed to increase propulsion, responses, and rate of stride. Prep runners will conclude their week with a track meet, where all families are invited and encouraged to attend. Head Cross Country/Track Coach Karl Knerr 74, has 25 years of experience in Cross Country and 30 years in Track & Field. He led the Braves to 3 consecutive State Finals in cross country. He just finished his 5th year as head track & field coach, and was named back-to-back IATCCC Coach of the Year as well as NFHS Boys Track & Field Coach of Year in 2014. The boys team (four straight) and girls team (first) have won the 1-3A HSR Indoor State Championships and hope to repeat in 2016. 3175247050.0
Make Your Own Comic Book - The Evergreen School
Students will draw their own comic book while learning storyboarding, basic character drawing, and 3D drawing. There will be opportunities to read comic books and to use how-to-draw guides in Manga, Anime, and various other styles. On the last day everyone will take home the comic book they created. This class is led in a supportive and creative atmosphere by Lukas Allenbaugh, who has over 20 years of experience teaching various styles of art to children. 206-957-1533
Kids Summer Camp week 1 - Spirit of the Horse Stables
Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. Runs Monday- Friday 8 am - 2pm - Offering early drop off and late pick up for an additional $10 per hour - Limited space we only take up to 10 campers per week - Multiple kid and refer a friend discounts - camp photos included (must sign waiver) - Horse show every Friday (ribbons are given out) parents are welcome to come - will learn about other farm animals & how to care for them Suggested to have and be own helmet that fits properly (will supply if needed)! Direct and edit a short film of your very own with TYR Director and Co-founder Tyler Null! An excellent opportunity for students who wish to challenge themselves and learn more about storytelling - as well as a great chance to try acting for the camera.
