At Cool Creations, each week of camp is dedicated to a different STEM project that is both fun and engaging. Campers explore and tackle a variety of situations and use their math and general problem-solving skills to address them. Through projects like designing a playground, rocket building, crafting video games and programming their own robots, students will experience what it would be like to be an architect, aerospace engineer, industrial engineer, and video game programmer. Every day campers also have ample opportunity to do the things that are typically done in a summer camp such as swimming, field trips, sports, games and other fun physical activities. Kid's do Strollfit - Norman, OK
Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. Hotspot Dance Studio offers a yearly Summer Camp that will make sure your son or daughter not only has a safe place to enjoy their summer vacation and be part of activies, but also a place where they will be learning new skills related to performance arts. CrossFit Apogee Teen Power Camp starts 6 October - Apollo Beach, FL

The CrossFit Apogee Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Video Production Camp - LCMM Campus: Vergennes/Basin Harbor
Video Production Camp is a hands-on educational fun summer camp experience. Filmmakers will be challenged to create a short film during their week of camp while experiencing and shooting rowing, snorkeling, exploring shipwrecks using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), blacksmithing, hiking, and much more. This week-long program gives you the opportunity to build your filmmaking skills and knowledge from any experience level using your own camera or phone as well as our collection of GoPro cameras, DSLRs, and editing computers. Girls 5/6 LAX - Old Trail LAX fields and HMAC
The next team sport to open up for registration in our new Grade 5/6 Team Sports Development Program will be Girls Lacrosse. The goal of this program is to help girls develop basic lacrosse game skills and to provide opportunities to apply these skills in modified game situations. This program will be coached by Ms. Margie Anderson, former NCAA Division I College player (UMass) and coach (UNH) and one of our coaches of the MS girls 7 & 8 grade Girls Lacrosse teams and by Mrs. Christy Woodburn, grade 5 Assistant. Practices will be held on the following Wednesdays and Fridays: April 20, 22 , 27, and 29 and May 6, and 11. In addition, a small number of games/scrimmages are scheduled on Monday 5/2 (Hudson Youth at OTS), Friday 5/13 (the Saints at OTS), Saturday 5/14 (noon CLE at OTS), plus on Wednesday 5/18 (Revere Youth at OTS). Minimum number of participants will be 12 Registration fee is $125 and the registration deadline is April 17, 2016 Players are strongly encouraged to bring their own goggles, mouth guards and sticks. Scratch Video Game Design Programming & 3D Design - Ethical Culture
Well build programs, games, and animations using Scratch: the drag-and-drop, color-coded, event driven programming block editor, and create some epic 3D structures using the latest computer-aided design software (CAD). Young makers will learn the fundamentals of programming with this fun introduction from the MIT Media Lab including if/then statements, loop structures, data variables, mathematical and Boolean operators. These skills will be applied to create games as we explore design concepts such as objective, aesthetic, and difficulty curves. Makers will also design 3D objects and structures in TinkerCAD and learn the fundamental skills industrial designers, architects, and engineers use to design everything from toys and phones to robots and cars. 212-712-6230
