Clarendon Spring 2016 - Clarendon Elementary
SPRING 2016: SURVIVOR FROG! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park. Our amazing Animal Ambassadors will be our guides as we gain survival skills, learn to work as a team, and explore the natural world all around us! There are no breaks during this session. Young Paleontologist (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our HALF DAY option for Young Paleontologist. Camp Young Paleontologist will get your child excited about dinosaurs, fossils, and more! Activities and experiments explore the prehistoric era. During each activity branches of science and noteworthy scientists are introduced. (If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to include that on your online registration form). These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Fossil rubbings, Dino dig!, Edible volcano, Crystal growing trees, Eruptions, and more! Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Phun with Phonics - Old Trail School
Phonics provides the groundwork for becoming a successful reader and can be phun!! With the use of 1-2 books per day campers will improve their phonics skills (including: word awareness, syllable awareness, rhyming, sound awareness and comprehension). Each book will be paired with phun phonics activities and a creative craft! Lets have a phabulous time with phonics!! Advanced Cruisers Grades 4-5 - Community Cycling Center Bike Shop
Imagine a week of longer rides and heightened bike challenges in Portlands summer sun. Campers who have already completed the Cruisers camp and mastered some basic skills will enjoy new opportunities to challenge themselves, expand their riding radius, and try out various riding terrains.
