Speed & Agility Camp, Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: Wroubel Center, main gym, outdoor & sand courts About: Students who attend this camp will work on all aspects of conditioning, including but not limited to speed training, agility, quickness, and anaerobic conditioning. This camp incorporates sprint mechanics and footwork as it relates to various cone, ladder, band and sprint drills, first step quickness and lateral movements. Students will be exposed to different resisted movements as well as basic agility and plyometrics. Great for sports that need high levels of conditioning like Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, etc. By using some of these techniques, some of the 2015 football players lowered their 40-yd dash & pro-agility and increased their vertical jump. This will also help soccer with improving pre-season testing results and in-season conditioning. **Sign up for both speed & agility sessions and pay only $100. Discount will automatically load at checkout.** What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, shoes for indoor and outdoor, socks, water bottle, and a readiness to prepare for your upcoming season. Coding 2 Sr Scratch Visual Programming 6/20-6/24 - Recreation-D.P.S.
AccelerateKIDs Coding Scratch Camp introduces campers ages 10 to 14 to the visual programming language M.I.T. Scratch. Campers attending will learn the basic principles behind computer programming by designing advance video games. Over the course of the week students will program games. Each programming lesson builds upon itself and reinforces the basic concepts to learned in camp. Using their knowledge learned over the course, campers will choose one of their games to edit and present on the final day of camp. Each camper will leave camp with an AccelerateKID T-shirt. Bulls/Sox Combo Camp - Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center
Our combo camps gives the two sport athlete the ability to improve their offensive and defensive game in both basketball and baseball. Half of each day will be spent on the basketball courts working on your basketball game with an outstanding coaching staff. Fine tune your baseball skills during the other half of the day, with our experienced Academy instructors. Please bring a sack lunch. Players will be grouped by age and ability level.
