Summit Afternoon Academy Summit Band Spring 2016 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders, 3:00-4:00PM, $360 Fees include snack Band meets in the Lower School Music Room in the Arts & Technology Building Clarinets- Wednesdays (Trumpet players from Fall Band may join this class if unable to meet on Tuesdays) January 6, 13, 20, February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 2, 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4 February 10, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice March 9, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice April 27, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice Band instruction includes note spelling, rhythm training, instrumental skills, harmonizing, and aural development. How Is Medication Handled On Site?
Summer camps employ qualified nurses and med-certified staff to ensure that all medication, controlled or over-the-counter, is properly handled. There are also a number of CPR- and First Aid- trained staff members who can assist in medical situations. All of the program’s employees are given a basic training on first aid as well as on the importance of identifying and dealing with allergies and asthma. These staff members are also given information about common mental health conditions like depression and ADHD/ADD. All medication is locked up. NFL Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp - Lakeland, FL
The Lakeland PAL Youth is proud to partner with NFL superstars Michael and Maurkice Pouncey to host the 6th Annual Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp on Saturday July 9, 2016. The free camp will take place from 8AM – 12PM at Lakeland Christian School, located at 1111 Forest Park Street. Boys and girls ages six to sixteen are invited to come develop their football skills with help from NFL players and coaches from across Polk County. To guarantee a spot, parents must pre-register their child. Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration.
