Please join us at Bootheel Youth Camp on September 26 from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM (lunch will be provided) for BYC’s second annual youth rally. (Registration will start at 8:30 and singing will begin at 9:00 AM.) The speaker this year will be Willie Franklin speaking on "The Power of Courage". Art 9 - Magical Artists - Artists Exchange
Armed with the power of magic you can do anything! Take a ride on a dragon and imagine you have magical powers. Build your own magic wand, compile a spell book and mix potions, all within the walls of our magical school of art. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

Are we in Mexico? You would think you were with all the fun Mexican crafts, games, sports and music. Create your own mask, pinata, sombrero, maracas and much more. All in Spanish! Vamos Amigos! Bring your bathing suit each day for water fun! On Wednesday, Campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. There will be a $25 material fee due the first day. Bring a bagged lunch. Week 2: ARABIC Does you child have an interest in learning Arabic? The MIDSummer Dualingo curriculum is designed to be interesting, entertaining and motivating. Although the roots are different, students who learn Spanish recognize some similarities and can achieve cross-efficiencies in language acquisition. Students enjoy the classes while learning as much Spanish and Arabic as possible in a short period of time. Camps are open to all levels from new beginners to native speakers.
