This Boy Scout Ranch Camp was established in 1983. My 14 year old son would not miss signing up for this summer camp. Nestled in over 200 miles of rugged country it is the perfect place to camp and explore nature. Our son liked the diverse topography of the land. Summer break is an opportunity to unwind and recharge as we unplug from the busy demands of the school year. Join us this summer for a Kids Kundalini Yoga Camp, an opportunity to experience the foundations of Kundalini Yoga and explore a practice of self-awareness. Through yoga, meditation, dance, stories, and hands-on activities we will journey through the bliss and playfulness of Kundalini yoga. Through this practice children can gain improved focus, a boost in confidence and Self-awareness, and build the foundation of their identity. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 God's people will never be perfect this side of heaven (Romans 3:9-12). Nevertheless, we are called to be holy because God is holy (Leviticus 11:44)... which sounds impossible. But the word "holiness" in Hebrew literally means "set-apartness." God isn't demanding impossible perfection. He calls every believer to live as uniquely separate (Leviticus 20:26), devoted to Him (1 Kings 8:53) and completely different from the world (1 Peter 1:13-16). It should be obvious to anyone who sees us that we are set apart (John 15:5-8). Jesus came to break our sin cycle and restore humanity's connection with our Creator God (2 Corinthians 5:19-21). Placing saving faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ's death on the cross justifies us before God (Romans 5:6-11). That incredible forgiveness and grace compels the true disciple toward righteousness, walking in God's ways not because we earn His grace, but because our love and thanksgiving manifests itself as obedience (1 John 5:1-5). Coats for Kids 2015 Campaign
Join us as we collect NEW Coats for Kids and cover the end zone of Joan C. Edwards Football Stadium! We will be collecting coats all through the months of October and November. Drop your NEW coat off today, at the designated Goodwill locations (Virginia Avenue, 9th Avenue, Lavalette, Milton & Barboursville) or at the Marshall home games on 10/24 and 11/14. Donate a NEW coat for the campaign and be entered in a drawing for: 4 chairback seats to the Marshall vs. FIU game on 11/14 & an on-field experience at the game. Its CCArts Improv Live - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
We brought back our popular camp for preteens and teens that was so much fun last year. From Whose Line Is It Anyway to Saturday Night Live to Second City, improvisation is a form of acting that is script-less, spontaneous, and lots of good fun. Use your imagination and creativity, and develop some very interesting and entertaining characters using tried and true improv games. Our comedy team will work towards a live interactive performance for campers and families at the end of the week. 302 239-2434 x120
Cavalier Cross Country Camp - Boy Camper - The Miller School
The camp aims to prepare campers to compete in running events from 800-meters through 10,000-meters and cross country. There will be two running activities daily, each will be between 25 minutes and 60 minutes in duration, depending on age and ability. Teams are encouraged to come as a group, and learn to work together. A team is considered 5 or more from the same school, residential camper price is $445. To register as a team you must call/email Todd Morgan to register. We will have expert speakers covering racing, training, and strength strategies. Camp facilities include miles of trains, gym, pool, lake, canoes, etc.. A full-time camp counselor staff includes a certified ATC Trainer, and life guard. Even though temperatures in the mountains remain cooler, we encourage you to bring a fan if you choose. Camp refund cut-off is July 1 (Unless reason from physician). 434-962-8054

The Zombie Apocalypse is coming! Do not be caught unprepared! Zombie Apocalypse Survival Camp teaches survival skills vital to protecting yourself and your family from invading zombies! Skills including: evasion tactics to avoid zombies, zombie combat in case you have an encounter, fishing, archery, shelter building and outdoor cooking for basic survival once the world as we know it has been ended. The undead wont stand a chance, but you will! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp Day Schedule : Hunt and Hike, snack, Activities Camp Curriculum by Day : Hike Park, Stealth and Evasion, Archery Combat, camo hide and seek, hunting, scavenger hunt, fishing, traps, campfire building, cooking. Meet daily at the pavilion for check in and pick up. This is an outdoor camp. Please send your child with sunscreen, bug spray and a hat. We will spend a significant amount of time in the sun.
