Each Winter Elite Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific Elite faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Elite Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. Wearable technology is becoming more and more popular everyday, especially when devices such as fit bits and apple watches exist. However, what if we were to incorporate technology into fashion? In this class, students will learn to invent and create a functional wearable garment, such as a shirt that lights up when reacting to sound, light, or temperature. Students will combine technology & fashion to create great looking, interactive wearables. This class will incorporate sewing, electronics, and fundamental programming.
