Number Sense - Office of Children, Youth & Learning
Children learn math concepts through games, songs, learning centers, whole group activities and everyday math related experiences and problem solving. Children develop number recognition, counting skills and learn to use numbers and language to compare quantities and solve problems. Sorting, patterning, measurement, graphing, shapes and number formation are included in the number sense curriculum. Winds/Brass - Band Camp 2016 - Natick High School
This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have at least one year of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week. The Wonders of Nature Camp - Horizons K-8 School
Do you love learning about plants, animals, and the natural world? Do you want a chance to get outside, play, and explore this summer? Our nature camp will foster a personal connection to the natural world as we become naturalists and adventures fro the week! We will study a wide variety of topics such as plants and animals, ecosystems, outdoor exploration, nature crafts, and lively indoor and outdoor games. Each day campers will return home with some new fun facts, a game they learned, or even a story about what they found on a nature hike.
