Has your child ever wondered how the inside of a computer works? Well, heres their chance to take apart computers (mainly PCs), and put them back together in ways that optimize speed, space, and/or resources. Evergreen provides the computers for the children to work on. Students will learn how to install a hard drive, add some RAM, and upgrade a processor. They will also learn tons of secrets and shortcuts that technophiles (a.k.a. computer geeks) use to quickly find out how fast any computer is…or could be! 206-957-1533
Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: Circus Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: Circus Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water.
