Calling all young composers! Heres a camp for you to meet other young composers and share your passion for creating music. Gain the tools you need to grow as a composer. Study the works of living and historic composers to understand how other composers think and solve problems. Receive coaching from MacPhail composition faculty on recent and current works. Hear your compositions performed by professional musicians. You will be asked to submit a score for review prior to the camp. Space is limited, register early! Students in the Composition Camp may opt to also enroll the in the optional Composition Camp Elective: Theory and Counterpoint for an additional fee. Golf Camps - Golf - St. Paul Gym
Learn the FUNdamentals for this lifetime sport with the University of Minnesota School of Golf. All Participants will experience the latest techniques in golf training and specialized starter equipment. Campers age 6-8 will learn putting, chipping and full swing technique through games and drills, plus etiquette and rules. Older campers add in pitching and additional training stations, plus get a chance to apply their skills on the course and learn more about how a golf course operates. These sessions are best for beginners to those with moderate experience. Bring golf clubs if you have them; some equipment is available to share. Please plan accordingly for the weather with a cap, sunscreen, water bottle, and umbrella or rain gear. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Camp Colley - 5 Nights - Town of Fountain Hills
CAMP COLLEY OVERNIGHT YOUTH CAMPS Overnight Youth Camps are designed to teach riding skills, horse care, canoeing and outdoor recreational skills. Life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication are emphasized in each activity. Campers ride a minimum of two hours per day in a series of riding lessons, games, and trail rides. Camp Colley partners with Hunkapi Horse Programs to provide overnight camps. This unique partnership will give campers additional opportunities at camp including, but not limited to, hiking, nature education, CANOEING, mountain biking, archery, and arts and crafts. Campers depart from the Kiwanis Ramada near the Splash Pad at Fountain Park at 8:30 AM on Monday and return at 4:00 PM on Wed. The Hope Soccer Day Camp is designed for players of various ages and ability levels. Campers ages 6 to 13 choose the Hope Soccer Day camp for the fun and educational experience that focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork and developing a love for the game of soccer. Players attending the camp are divided into groups by age and ability level. This structure allows the coaching staff to create a learning environment that challenges each child with appropriate instruction and engaging game environments. Throughout the week the campers build strong relationships with their coaches and teammates.
