Summer Camps in Manila, AR
As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University. He has taught Creative Writing for 19 years at BJPS and has formerly taught Creative Writing at Indiana University and Franklin College. Email Mr. Wagner directly at with questions. 3175247050.0

Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. They can’t stop talking about the fun times and the great counselors and... Read More...

The 10th Annual Global Youth Peace Summit will unite 70 youth (ages 14-17) from 25+ countries for a week-long experience dedicated to personal growth, healing, cultural exchange, leadership development and community building. The 10th Annual Texas Global Youth Peace Summit will take place August 15th-21st, 2016 at Camp Champions in Marble Falls, Texas. The Summit is a place for healing… Some of the youth who attend have experienced traumatic circumstances: extreme poverty, religious persecution, child labor, gang violence, abuse and neglect. Some have witnessed the atrocities of war and have literally run for their lives; many have been uprooted from their native cultures and are struggling to integrate into an entirely foreign world. By sharing their stories with others, Summit participants find themselves heard, celebrated, and empowered. The Summit is a place for authenticity… Every youth is empowered to be themselves, completely. The invitation is simple – come as you are. The Summit is not about being “peaceful”; it is about being real. The primary intention of the Summit is not about creating peace in the world. It is about each youth making the commitment to cultivate peace within their own hearts and minds, and to walk...
