Stars & Stripes Track Camp is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, coached by Olympic and elite athletes. Our day clinic is open to ages 6-18 with any level of track and field experience. We provide world-class instruction in training, technique, nutrition, plyometrics and competition strategies. Our junior camp (ages 6-12) teaches campers about each track and field event and gives each camper an opportunity to grow as an athlete. Our senior camp (ages 13-18) focuses on advanced training and emphasizes technique, drilling, and theoretical aspects of track and field. (503) 229-4967

Youth Fun-Damental Basketball Camp - Roscommon, MI
This exciting camp opportunity is for boys and girls entering the 3rd through 8th grade. With four days of fun and learning, using a variety of drills, skills, contests, and games, your athlete will have a chance to be active and leave with the necessary tools to develop their game for their future. Postive social interaction with others their age and with their basket coach will help them in more ways than just basketball skills. Camp is Monday - Thursday, August 22-25, from 10am-3pm and cost is $50. Early drop off and pick up is available for an additional $2 per hour. Maximum registration of $100 per family. (Compare to your child care costs, Example: 1 camper at $50/20 hours of instruction time = $2.50 hour.) Each camper will receive a t-shirt. If you are starting a college search this year, it is important that you understand this issue and how any college your student may be considering addresses it. The problem is real and widespread: 1 in 4 college women reports being sexually assaulted and, since 2014, over 180 complaints against colleges have been filed in Federal Court for mishandling sexual assault complaints. Join us to learn about sexual assault on college campuses, find out why it's come to the forefront now, and what you need to know to assess campus safety (policy, culture, Title IX violations). We will also discuss affirmative consent and alcohol/drug use. As the high profile Brock Turner sexual assault case in Stanford pointed out, "20 minutes" changed the trajectory of two young lives forever.

Water, water everywhere, undeniably one of the most crucial elements to life on our planet is water. Yet how many people understand the basics of this life giving resource? Use investigation, observation, and exploration to understand more about this amazing resource. Do hands-on experiments involving dropping, spraying, heating, and freezing and discover the mysterious properties of water and how it changes to different states of matter. Explore the local watershed to see how water moves and changes shape along its path to the sea. Search the creek to look for critters that live in or near water. Meet and take a close look at YSIs live aquatic animals and develop a better appreciation for the world of water. 408-827-5507

10th 2016 Camp Buckaroo WINTER BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Winter Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing + GLOVES on cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day.
