Studio Art w/Exploring Pottery, Ages 8-9 - The Yard School of Art At Montclair Art Museum
SummerART Camp Full Day Studio Art Program 9:30am to 5pm Studio Art with Exploring Pottery Elective Session I: June 27 to July 8 No camp on Monday, July 4 Studio Art Camp The American Life: Paleo to the Present This session will explore what life was like in the Americas throughout history, from when the dinosaurs roamed to modern times. Campers will go on a journey throughout a variety of American cultures and civilizations, learning about their daily lives, legends and stories, and art forms. Visits to MAMs newly installed Native American collection will be included to provide a closer look and inspiration. Travel from the prehistoric to the present in this whimsical tour throughout time. Using a multicultural approach, students will use ceramic clay, and colorful glazes to create both functional and decorative objects, such as pots, masks, creatures, and animals. Young Builder (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is the HALF DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! The Jungle Book Summer Camp - Stutelage Innovations
The Jungle Book Camp explores the jungle in a way you have never seen it before! Children will read the classic Rudyard Kipling story, as well as the famous Disney version. We will transform our classroom into a wild habitat and create our own terrariums. Jungle crafts, jungle music and a look at the jungles of our world will keep campers excited and engaged all week long!
