DAILY ACTIVITIES: Camp Gulls action-packed program features a variety of daily and weekly activities. Students are divided into age-appropriate groupings and are provided a dynamic schedule that balances academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits. Each week will have a theme that ties classes and field trips together. While the theme is the same for all age-groups, the individual classes and field trips may differ. Extended Care & Point Loma Bus (if needed) are included in the camp tuition. This summer is the inaugural series of Summer Camps to serve the homeless youth of Clark County and North County! We plan to serve over 250 youth. We have invited Second Step Housing, Aspire and EVERY shelter in the area. This will be a FREE CAMP for them! WE CAN NOT DO THIS ALONE! We need as much help as we can get with fundraising! The vision is that every child leaves Camp inspired to DREAM BIG despite of their present circumstances. Hewitt Clubhouse is our full service after-school, mini fun camps and summer camp program for children in grades k-8. Our mini camp and after-school offerings are available to Hewitt girls only. The program runs daily during the school year. Classes include chess, karate, swimming, science, and culinary learning. Most Clubhouse sessions begin after school and run through 4:30pm but others have a later dismissal time based on the activity. For families wanting more afterschool care there are options for an extended afternoon until or 5:55pm, with opportunities for homework help, indoor games or outdoor play.
