These camps run from 1-4 in the afternoon and are designed for students in 5th grade and up. Early bird registration rates are $75 for 1 mini camp, $100 after May 15. Capoeira is a unique Brazilian martial art that combines kicks and dodges with acrobatics and dance like movements all performed to live music! This two-day workshop will help you express (and discover) what is meaningful to you through writing: What true experiences motivate your work, and how can you make them truthful in fiction? Where does real life end and fiction begin? Award-winning writer and Colorado Mesa University instructor Rhonda Claridge will work with students on creating composite characters, developing fiction out of what they know, and elucidating the essence of their narratives.
