The ELC would like to invite you to our 6th Annual Summer Camp Splash. Our Summer Camp Splash will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Northwood Centre. This FREE community event will showcase over 50 summer camp programs in the Big Bend Region, and provide parents with the opportunity to ‘shop’ for summer camps for their children. We will also have fun activities for children of all ages including a bounce house, an outdoor slide, a massive outdoor sand pit, games, food trucks and much much more! UCLA UniCamp is a tradition at UCLA that is entering its 81st summer of camp. The session I will be attending this year (Session 2) is during June 25- July 1. Every year there are hundreds of under-served children that may not be dreaming of a bright future. Help us provide these kids with the tools to change their stars and give them the chance to dream big and succeed! All proceeds from this event go towards sending under-served youth to camp this summer. Grades K-5: Puppetry! - Wyndham Lakes Elementary
Grades K-2: Improv! Class meets only on Mondays from 3:00- 4:15 The class dates are 1/4, 1/11, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/22, 2/29– 7 weeks ($85) Puppetry: Our puppetry session allows students to craft and perform with their own puppet! We guide the students through the ins and outs of various puppetry styles and techniques. A Dramatic Preview on the final day will showcase their puppet and stories created throughout the session. This is your chance to work with the animals and the farmer here at the farm for the whole day. Well feed the animals breakfast in the morning, dinner at night, and take care of them in between. The best part of the day will be welcoming all the new arrivals! We will spend time with newborn goats, pigs, chickens and ducks! 860-535-8171

This program is designed to teach the basics of windsurfing including, proper stance, self-rescue, tacking and gybing as well as some basic sail theory. NEW this year we are adding SUP-ing as an element to this class to help work on balance and strength. Taught on our Bic Techno 293 boards this is a great way to learn a new sport. 860-535-9362
Counselor in Training (CIT) - New England Frontier Camp
The CIT Program is the capstone of the camping experience for young men. For decades, the CIT program at New England Frontier Camp has challenged young men physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to refine and build their character. They are pushed and challenged in ways designed to grow their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Our CITs will build leadership experience into their lives that they can carry with them into manhood. The program is a five week program, consisting of two weeks of Pre-Camp training with the staff, and the first week of summer program with some intensive activies and projects. CITs have the opportunity to acheive Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid. Then, during sessions of the summer camp program, CITs are placed in limited program activities and closely observed by the senior staff. Part of our goal with this program is to produce young men who are capable to go on as Junior Counselors and Senior Counselors. 2079256735.0
