The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly Player Development camp this Spring. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to improve his game in a variety of areas. Focus will be given each week to developing essential parts of the players game including but not limited to arm strength & speed development, speed enhancement, positional improvement, and offensive production. Each session will be 2 hours in length and will encompass a combination of the above mentioned areas with the sole purpose of Player Development. Sessions will take place on Monday nights from 6:00-8:00 and will include the following dates Feb 29th, March 7th, March 14th, March 21st, April 4th, April 18th, April 25th and May 2nd The cost to attend each session is 50.00. The Avengers Mentoring Organization (501c3) presents it's 3rd Annual Charity Fireworks Fundraiser for our 5th Annual Summer Camp! Our FREE summer camp serves 300 children ages 6-13 in and around the Metro-Detroit area. This daily camp runs from July 11, 2016-August 19, 2016. Locations are: The Golightly Education Center (5536 St. Antoine) and George Crockett Academy (4851 14th St) in Detroit. During the camp, children are involved in team sports such as: volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball and more, arts and crafts, group mentoring, outdoor recreational play and are also served by a mobile dentist. Meals are provided by Good Samaritan Food and is run by up to 25 volunteers! Field trips are also optional and available! This year's theme is "Celebrate and Laugh," the fireworks is a tradition in Metro-Detroit, get a magnificent view of the fireworks at One Woodward on the 19th floor!
