Fun-filled field trips will be taken each day to enable campers to explore the exciting opportunities available in our community. Each morning will begin with a short educational reading and activity related to the field trip. Lunch will be eaten on the trip and a thematic afternoon snack will be provided. Each location offers campers the opportunity to play and explore. Campers should pack their own lunch. Field trips include: Cleveland Zoo, Great Lakes Science Center, Natural History Museum and Lake Farm Parks. Trips will be arranged according to weather and lunch should be packed in brown paper sacks or plastic bags to allow for easy disposal while on field trips. Camp Seaside - Week #8 - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Camp Seaside is a summer day camp based at the Mast Landing School on Bow Street in Freeport. Our day camp is designed to spark your childs imagination, grow new friendships and create a memorable summertime experience for all. Some of our time will be spent, weather permitting, at Winslow Park on beautiful Casco Bay. Each week will also consist of a highlight trip and a trip to a local state park or beach. Daily activities will include arts, crafts, sports and games. Campers are divided into age appropriate groups for most activities and trips, but participate in whole camp events as well. We are once again teaming up with Freeport Community Services and the USDA Federally Funded Summer Lunch Program. SUMMER CAMP DETAILS We are pleased to announce that Young Set Club summer camp will continue to serve families in and around the Conejo Valley. Our new location will be at Conejo Adventist Elementary School (CAES), 1250 Academy Drive, Newbury Park. CAES is just off the 101, about 4 miles west of the original Young Set property. We will also be featuring the swimming pool and gymnasium at Newbury Park Academy just a short hike down from CAES also on Academy Drive. 2016 Summer Clinic Series - Both Days - Gladchuck Field Hockey Complex
Each day will comprise of a 3 hour clinic covering various skills and field hockey concepts along with competitive games. Additionally, on Saturday there will be a 2 hour play session in the late afternoon that will comprise only games. You have the option of signing up for 1 day or for both. The concepts covered each day will be different and the games at the end of each clinic will focus on concepts covered that day. All players will be coached by current Division 1 coaches, as well as current and former Division 1 players.
