Our training sessions are creative and geared toward maintaining a fun yet challenging and competitive atmosphere. We understand that athletes need to not only be pushed to their limits, but they must enjoy what they are doing if they are to truly benefit from it. The program utilizes a combination of speed, acceleration, and agility drills coupled with power and strength exercises in a structured and controlled environment. These young athletes will learn and sharpen their skills in the mechanics of running, agility, and footwork, while being introduced to various pieces of speed and agility training equipment throughout the facility. Low-intensity strength training is emphasized with exercises involving the athletes own body weight, and power is developed through the application of plyometrics. We have a way of making training and fitness fun. Our kids leave the facility sweaty, red-faced, smiling and wanting to come back for more! 919-438-2144

First off, forgetting to pack a toothbrush or comb is very common. Summer camps are always fully equipped to handle such issues. These programs and their talented staff will not allow children to go hungry or without important items like toiletries. There are usually extra items on site for youth to wear.

Teen Director's Camp - New Bern, NC
Info and application posted under Children's Programs on Rivertowne's Website! www.rivertowneplayers.org This week long camp will meet every afternoon. We will work with local directors to learn technique, stage blocking and tableaus, the audition process, vetting and preparing a show, ect. Guest directors will visit with us to tell us about their personal techniques. There are VERY limited spots. An application will be available for the first two weeks of June. This is FREE OF CHARGE! We do hope to host a teen show this spring, and the production team will come from this camp.

Are you wondering how you are going to keep your child busy during the summer? We have the answer for you. Parks and Recreation is offering weekly themed day camps at an affordable price. Visit our office for a list of featured adventures. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants will need a water bottle, swim suit, towel, sunscreen, tennis shoes & socks, lunch, and the camp shirt (provided)daily. OZ Park Summer FD Baseball camp week 11 FULL DAY CAMPER - OZ Park
LPBA is pleased to announce that we have added a second baseball field to our summer camp program at OZ Park. The additional field at OZ Park will allow us to divide the kids by age and skill level. We will use Field #1 for boys and girls ages 5-7 and Field #2 for boys and girls ages 8-12. The camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including base running, pitching, defense, bunting, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills. LPBAs summer camp programs run from June 9 though August 29, 2014: Half day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - $175 per week Full day sessions from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - $250 per week Fridays are rain make up days Camp registration is on a weekly basis. The NYC Soccer Academy is committed to training players between the ages of 6-18 in the technical, tactical and athletic aspects of soccer. Players will be exposed to an experience of intense game situations that will help them develop the skill and confidence required to succeed at every level. Goalkeepers will be used in all sessions and coached by our experienced staff within their assigned groups. Interested in learning the ropes of being in a musical or maybe youre a theater veteran and just cant get enough of the stage? Whatever your experience come join us for our mini production camps this summer. Session I explores songs and dances from the Oz stories of musical theater: The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked. Session II explores songs & scenes from Shrek Jr. Camp focuses on putting the production together as well as healthy vocal/singing production with dance combinations and character development while learning to seamlessly combine these disciplines.
