My Tutor and More OPEN FULL DAY FOR KISD EMPLOYEES at The Park @ MTM Teacher Work Day Monday, 1/25/16 My Tutor and More will offer full day child care services to KISD Employees at our new location, The Park @ MTM ~ KILLEEN'S NEW INDOOR PLAYGROUND AND FAMILY FUN CENTER, 4006 E. Stan Schlueter Loop! Teacher Work Day ~ Full day services available, 7am-6pm, $30/student, pizza lunch provided or children may bring their own lunch, snacks provided, NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES or toys, however, children may bring books. Children will be engaged in fun activities, crafts, games, bouncy houses, indoor basketball, movie time, gaming systems, pool tables and more! Be sure to wear or bring SOCKS! Teachers/employees MUST visit The Park @ MTM prior to the date to complete necessary documents (repeat customers do not need new paperwork) and make payment. We are open daily to accept new registrations during any of our hours of operation. The cost of this package is just $30/student. Teen Pottery Camp - Danville, KY
Get your hands dirty and play in the mud on the potter’s wheel. This week teens will learn the basics of hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery, and bring home miniature clay sculptures, bowls, and anything else they can carve out of clay! Our Little River Otters program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions. Theater 3 - Improv Extravaganza - Artists Exchange
Jump in, be big and bold, laugh, and learn the basics of acting through the wild, wonderful world of improvisation! Learn to think quickly on your feet and act from the top of your head in this fun, silly, and engaging camp. Play and perform favorite short form improv games, including those seen on TVs hit show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Students gain confidence in public speaking, expressing themselves using their body and voice, and facing fears of stage fright and performance anxiety. No experience necessary; come one and come all. Class culminates in an original improv show for family and friends; written, created, hosted, and performed by the students.
