LFG football camp is a one day instructional clinic taught by volunteer college coaches from across the country. Participants are divided into groups based on chosen offensive and defensive position, and rotate through drills, skills and technique instruction throughout the day. The camp creates the opportunity to improve play, learn from college coaches, showcase talents and learn about the opportunities to continue ones academic and athletic career in college. What to Avoid Packing for Summer Camp?
Summer camp is a great chance for kids to stay active and meet new friends. Thus, children are usually asked to leave values at home, including electronics. Camp life includes a lot of activity and it would be easy for iPods, gaming consoles, and other items to be lost or damaged. Instead of staying plugged in, camp is a wonderful time for kids to detox from such items. Of course, if a child is going to a technology program, a laptop might be acceptable.
To keep everyone safe, fireworks, weapons, and illegal drugs and other items need to stay home....

2016 ACDS Fish ‘n Fun Camp (6-9 yr. olds) - Alexandria
Our Fish ‘n Fun camps for 6-9 yr. old campers are designed to teach the basics of freshwater fishing through a series of games and activities as well as on-the-water experience. Campers learn casting, fish species, knots, and even get their hands dirty catching their own bait before heading out on the water at local ponds and rivers in search of bluegill, bass, catfish, and anything else that will bite! 804-272-6362
Gymnastics - Intermediate Gymnastics Camp - Jefferson County Community Center
This camp is for gymnasts that have mastered basic positions and skills. The intermediate gymnastic level introduces the gymnast to skill on the high beam, handstand forward rolls, round offs, front walkovers and back walkovers. Gymnasts will also work on skills using the bars and springboard. Parents please provide snacks for your child, as we will be breaking daily for a snack. Dates: June 27-July 1 Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm for Boys Entering Grades K-8 Format: One-week session Location: Laurels Butler Campus in Russell Township Tuition: Boys-Only Camp: $325/session Get a jump on the season with an intense week of fitness and skill training! This first-class soccer camp focuses on enhancing individual skills, building team tactics and teaching intricacies of the game. In addition to soccer skills, campers will spend time in our state-of-the-art 16,000-square-foot fitness center while working with Laurels certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to learn about lifting techniques, agility, speed, ACL injury prevention and nutrition. Participants will be split into groups based on age and experience. Coach Dennis Weyn - Director of Coaching for Ohio Premier Soccer Club and Eastside Kickers, Dennis is a former member of the U16 and U18 Dutch National Teams and played professional soccer in the Netherlands and the US. Create beautiful still lifes and plein air landscape paintings from photos, models, and nature.
