ABOUT: Our featured speaker for this weekend will be Greg Gunter, Youth Pastor at Covenant Baptist Church in Romney, WV. Greg has a heart for young people and making sure they understand the Word of God in a practical way. This weekend, our theme is FOUNDATIONAL. All buildings are built upon a foundation. The foundation determines how well the structure will stand. You'll be challenged this weekend to look at what your life is built upon and what is the real foundation in your life. RETREAT COSTS: Register for the retreat on or before October 14 and the price is $59.00. The price for the retreat increases to $64.00 on registrations that come in after October 14. Haven Place Youth Camp (July 31 thru Aug. 7). 7th-12th graders will be staying at Haven Place. Only $30.00 per person 8 days 7 nights. Registreation due by July 2oth. Last year we had 28 attend. Boys will be in tents outside with the adults on watch and the Ladies will be inside with the adult Ladies. They will be mentored by College age students who will be volunteering their time during the mission week. There will be at least four other key adults to chaperone this event. Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses.
