Summer Camp @ La Pintoresca Group A (6-7) - La Pintoresca Park
Neighborhood Park Camp at La Pintoresca Park is a traditional, high-quality camp that is fun and affordable. Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness games and challenges, dance, visits to the library, enrichment activities and swimming. Campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Instruction is also offered in golf and tennis. Campers are escorted to Robinson Park Recreation Centers swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Staff go into the water with the campers and certified lifeguards are always present. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Trips are an additional charge and are scheduled for once a week. This camp is a good fit for active campers who like sports and group activities. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 10. Campers are grouped by age, and lunch and a snack are provided. Camp culminates in the annual ?War Games? in which Washington Park Camp and La Pintoresca Park Camps compete in a series of challenges to determine an annual camp champion. Are you looking for a way to work on your golf game during the long winter months? Now you can in UKs state-of-the-art indoor training center located at the University Club of Kentucky. Join Head Coach Brian Craig and Assistant Coach Ben Fuqua for our Winter Training Camp in the UK Golf House. Campers will enjoy eight three-hour training sessions on Thursday evenings beginning January 21 and running through March 31. Each session will consist of a 90 minute small group instruction with individualized training (max of 6 golfers per small group). Our coaching staff will focus on improving the golf game of each camper. The facility will also be available for use by the golfers for an additional 90 minutes on each date. Our facility has everything needed to effectively train the serious golfer, including indoor heated hitting bays and an extraordinary indoor short game area. The UK Golf House is also packed with the latest technology such as Trackman and SAM PuttLab. All of these features and technology are there for one purpose…TO MAKE YOU A BETTER GOLFER. Classes will focus on both basic skills for jewelers and metalsmiths. One of the goals is to enlighten students on the importance of design, material, technique and craftsmanship. Art jewelry is cultivated through math and nature. You can find geometry in facet of nature. Geometry illustrates relationships of points, lines, angles, surfaces and solids. Geometry is a configuration of objects or parts that suggest geometric figure. Summer Camp @ La Pintoresca Group A (6-7) - La Pintoresca Park
Neighborhood Park Camp at La Pintoresca Park is a traditional, high-quality camp that is fun and affordable. Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness games and challenges, dance, visits to the library, enrichment activities and swimming. Campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Instruction is also offered in golf and tennis. Campers are escorted to Robinson Park Recreation Centers swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Staff go into the water with the campers and certified lifeguards are always present. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Trips are an additional charge and are scheduled for once a week. This camp is a good fit for active campers who like sports and group activities. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 10. Campers are grouped by age, and lunch and a snack are provided. Camp culminates in the annual ?War Games? in which Washington Park Camp and La Pintoresca Park Camps compete in a series of challenges to determine an annual camp champion. Campers are asked to wear sturdy, closed-toe athletic shoes, sunscreen and hats. On swimming days, campers are asked to bring sandals for the pool area and swimming suits. ...
