What to Avoid Packing for Summer Camp?
Summer camp is a great chance for kids to stay active and meet new friends. Thus, children are usually asked to leave values at home, including electronics. Camp life includes a lot of activity and it would be easy for iPods, gaming consoles, and other items to be lost or damaged. Instead of staying plugged in, camp is a wonderful time for kids to detox from such items. Of course, if a child is going to a technology program, a laptop might be acceptable.
To keep everyone safe, fireworks, weapons, and illegal drugs and other items need to stay home....

Come join other young quilters and make some new friends. Participants will complete a quilt top in this one day class using a simple pattern. Age 10 and up and must own and know how to operate their own sewing machine. Registration fee is $60 (includes fabric and pattern).

Camp TMP's After School Academy presents "A Kid's Life" on Thursday, November 10, at 7:30 pm. This cast of 13 student performers shares an exciting adventure in the world of a kid! A How-To Musical Guide to the Most Daring, Dangerous, Exciting Time ... Like ... Ever! Composers: John Jacobson, Mac Huff A massive electromagnetic attack from outer space has jammed all technical systems, and there is no electricity, no cell phones, no laptops – NO FUN! The kids are in a panic and don't know what to do, until Grandma arrives on the scene and introduce them to a day filled with daring and adventure, music and imagination – all without fancy gadgets! This creative 35-minute musical appropriate for all ages features seven original songs, choreography, and terrific acting! Admission is by donation and perfect for the whole family to attend.

This camp is designed to introduce the game of basketball to young players. Campers will learn the basic skills of what it takes to become a successful basketball players. Lil Topper Camp is all about teaching the fundamentals of basketball. Techniques taught include ball handling, shooting, and the importance of teamwork. Sweet Briar Drill and Play Weekend Clinic - Sweet Briar College
These tennis clinics are offered for competitive players above a 3.5 level and feature a tactical approach to building a players game. Both singles and doubles play patterns are developed through a progressive use of tactical dead ball, live ball and competitive decision making drills.
