Are you ready to learn what it takes to be an Outdoor Adventurer?! Spend the week learning how to pack a backpack like a pro, work as a team to navigate using map and compass, cook over an open fire you built yourself, and basic shelter construction using a tarp and Para cord. Youll spend time learning how to meal plan and what equipment is needed for a trip, as well as how to read the weather. The Outward Bound staff will help you escape to nature and survive with ease. This camp includes two field trips to put all of your new skills to the test! An additional waiver is required with registration. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Kid Fit Camp- Southeast YMCA - Huntsville, AL
Get your kids away from the TV, computer, and video games. This summer the YMCA wants to help your child discover the FUN OF FITNESS! Class Description Sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, pickle ball and other fun fitness games every day! Strength training activities with a certified personal trainer! Fun lessons on health and nutrition with a registered dietitian! Wednesday field trip to Camp Cha-La-Kee from 9am-5p to participate in traditional fun outdoor activities such as: Canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and having fun on the Blob (picture attached)! Kid's Summer Camp at the Mount - Colonial Heights, VA
A week of fun, faith, and friends for kids who have completed grades K-5. Camp will include: worship, Bible study, trips & more! Camp runs August 15-19, with lunch and family dinner provided. GAS Camp is for all of the kids who just cant get enough of games, sports and science. We will be playing games such as ultimate Frisbee, Handball, Splashball (similar to water polo), along with old favorites like soccer, basketball and volleyball. When our bodies need a rest we will use our minds to create simple machines and science experiments! Designed for campers who have completed grades 5-8. GAS Camp will run concurrently with MADD Camp.
