Are All Summer Camps Coed?
Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs. Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Many of these programs work with nearby groups so that the campers can get off camp and interact with a variety of people. Coed camps are a great way for kids to get to know one another and...

Kids Latin Dance Camp - Lafayette, LA
This is an introductory course of popular Latin dances. It is appropriate for all levels of dance experience. Classical Ballet is incorporated into the curriculum to ensure proper technique is applied in all dance styles. The dancers will be split into two groups. Children ages 5-8 will attend camp from 9:00am-12:00pm. Children ages 9-12 will attend camp from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Flippin' Fall Fest Girls Competitive Gymnastics Camp - Fargo, ND
Flippin' Fall Fest is geared towards girl competitive gymnasts of all levels, and features small group sizes to facilitate focused, intense, and personalized training. The camp curriculum features two daily workouts totaling approximately 9 hours. The workouts are designed for systematic progression according to individual ability. Campers spend the sessions attending workouts at TNT Kid's Fitness & Gymnastics. COST: $175 - includes snack and leotard. PAYMENT: $75 deposit due when registering. Full camp payment is due October 21 at check in. REFUND POLICY: The camp fee is non- refundable after September 23, without a physician’s statement. Any refunds given with a physician's statement will be subject to a cancellation fee of $75 of the registration fee to cover expenses already incurred. Once leotards have been ordered, sizes may not be changed. ENROLLMENT: Maximum enrollment for this camp is 120 campers. Register early! CHECK-IN: June 8 at 8:00 am. Harmony Hill QUEST Retreat 2016 - Fulton, MO
QUEST is a retreat for young adults (age 17 and up). This year's theme is "Going Global: Engaging Our World from Home." Speaking is Jason Dodson, currently on home assignment from his work in China. Tennis and So Much More - Wheaton Indoor Tennis
Schools out, and its time to play! During the tennis portion of camp, kids with little or no tennis experience will play with the smaller rackets and softer balls of our "10 and Under Tennis" classes which will help them connect with the ball. They will really enjoy themselves while they learn the basic strokes and rules of tennis. Well also do some fun tennis drills and games that will teach moves and skills to use on the court. Older and more experienced players will be placed together to assure they are getting a good challenge with their friends and peers. When were not playing tennis, well take a hike on one of the great trails in Wheaton Regional Park, visit Brookside Nature Center and explore nature, and cool off at the South Germantown Splash Playground on Tuesdays. Step into Sewing C (ages 6+) M-F 10am -1pm THEME TBD - Meadowlark Community Church
Step Into Sewing (Audrey Oberman) This project-based 3 hour camp-day (x5 days) will start with the basics so no experience is needed! Campers will work at their own individual pace and may choose from several smaller projects like a needle book and pincushion and then work on a larger project throughout the week, or a mixture of both! They will learn how to thread machines, sew straight seams and iron them, as well as some different techniques for finishing seams, and how to add closures (snaps, buttons, zippers, ties) to projects. More experienced campers may choose to learn how to cut from a pattern and make a simple garment such as pajama shorts. During all weeks...New children: will work on the basics and pick special projects and team up with the experts. Returning children: will be able to continue with what they heave learned, re-make favorites. NEED: labeled water bottle, snack, lunch and shopping bag to hold projects.
