LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Woodland Day Camp - Camp Waubanong
Woodland Camp is our foundational primer for camping, safety and discovery. Are you ready for an epic adventure? Built your own fire? Made a home to keep you dry? Or ever carved wood? Well cook on fires, harvest wild edibles, make rope, tie knots and learn many other essential skills. Well also play our favorite outdoor games for a healthy dose of unmatched fun. Day campers are also welcome to stay for our Thursday night closing campfire, which runs until 8:45pm. Campers are assigned to a cabin, so become acquainted with camp life, and feel just as connected to camp as our overnight campers. Day campers should plan to bring a bathing suit and towel each day. They also should bring one blanket and pillow to use on their bunk during rest hour. Our Woodland Camp runs Monday – Friday, from 8am to 5pm. (802) 490-5550

If you're opening to travel, I would suggest making a list of what you (and your son) are looking for in a camp. Is there a particular activity he likes or would like to try? Is a religious based program important, if so, how important? Do you want it to be an all boys camp or would you prefer a coed experience? I suggest looking at American Camp Association Accredited camps. Also program length is important. If your son is independent and does well away from home you could consider a two-week program. If he does not do well away...

Learn to become a young Jedi in this week long all encompassing Star Wars Camp! Kids will get to use high end replica lightsabres to stage battles, complete obstacle courses, take down the Death Star and more over the course of the week! The week is broken up into half lightsabre training and half other kinds of Jedi Training. A Whale of a Tale - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
This lovely underwater musical is truly delightful! The circus themed musical plot revolves around the underwater circus band taking a leave of absence to perform at the "Clammies". This leaves the circus without their primary musical act! The story takes us through each sea creatures trials and tribulations as they pursue their dreams of being musicians. An in-depth manuscript Bible study of Abrahams life in the book of Genesis. Picks up where Genesis leaves off. This track is designed for seniors who are graduating in May, and as such, is a shortened week of camp. Exact schedule is determined around participants graduation dates, but typically runs Mon-Friday.
