Kids Pursuit is ready to bring MEGA Sports Camp to the community of Minot. Children entering K-5th Grade will get to spend each evening making friends, learning sports skills, and having FUN! Choose any six weeks for your child to attend. Additional weeks may be added later by contacting the Director at the established rate. Weeks CANNOT be added at the rate difference between each available session program. For example, if you register for three weeks and then decide to add two additional weeks, the cost WILL NOT be the difference between the three week program and the five week program. EVOLVE HOCKEY ELITE MINI CAMP Elite Mini-Camp will include three mornings of high intensity hockey for those hockey players that are dedicated and can handle the fast pace of professional hockey training! Each day players will engage in 2.5 hours of on ice intense hockey sessions! Players will also work on their speed, strength and agility at The Forum. Specifically designed for your Lil Hoopers, your child ages 4-6 will learn the basics of the game in a fun, learning environment. For the first few weeks, players are given a skills camp experience and fundamentals are taught. Then participants will compete in games/scrimmages, where parents can encourage their child and see their progress. All participants will receive a shirt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. College Prep Camp - Non-Appalachian Region - Transylvania University
Transylvanias College Prep Camp will give campers an opportunity to sample college life while gaining academic knowledge and learning how to improve their scores on standardized tests. Morning and afternoon sessions will explore different academic areas through lectures given by Transylvania faculty and staff members. These will often be the same lectures you might receive as a Transylvania student. Evening sessions will help prepare campers for the ACT and SAT exams. They will receive two evenings of math preparation and two evenings of verbal preparation. During camp, participants live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet services will not be available in the dorm rooms. To be eligible for this camp, campers must have a grade average of at least a B and be recommended by two individuals - one of them a teacher or counselor who verifies your grades and confirms that you are interested in and would benefit from the camps program.
