The intention of kid’s Yoga Camp is to teach children about the different places, people, animals, that live around the world. Going into a Journey with Yoga and learning it meaning “Union”, bringing this concept through physical activities games, arts and crafts, storytelling, puppets and more. Children will explore this Journey in a cooperative relationship, learning about friendship, happiness, kindness, honesty, passion, self-esteem and gratitude. This will be our 4th consecutive December hosting a Coat-A-Kid Charity BootCamp! Come out to support an awesome charity, have fun and get your sweat on... unless you're the kind of person that is ok with kids not having coats this winter ;) All fitness levels are welcome! Classes are 55 minutes and begin at 8am & 9:30am. Max 25 people per group so be sure to sign up in advance! $20/person (you can pay at the door or in advance). The $20 donation will cover the cost of a NEW coat, gloves and hat for 1 child. TO REGISTER: 1) We have a sign up sheet at the gym. 2) Email us at [email protected] and let us know which time you would like to attend. Coat-A-Kid provides new coats, hats and gloves, free of charge, to kids in need in the St. Louis area. They are 100% volunteer run, so 100% of the proceeds go to coating children!

Sports for the Community was founded with one goal in mind, introducing our local youth to the substantial benefits of The Beautiful Game of Soccer. With over 20 years of experience from the most successful and influential soccer educators in our area. We welcome all levels of ability, boys and girls, from ages 4 -12. Our soccer educators are age specific specialists and can adapt to all situations. The curriculum and age appropriate development plan is geared to not only set standards in athletics but also provide a foundation for building character on the field, in the classroom, and throughout all areas of life. 516.719.0800
Camp Shalom LIT - Session IIB - JCC Campus
The Camp Shalom LIT Program (formerly counselor in training) has been redesigned to allow teens a multifaceted experience. The program contains three core components: leadership training, hands-on counselor skills guidance, and fun, social programming. Each two-week session will provide teens the opportunity to experience every facet of working at a summer camp from interacting directly with campers to shadowing activity specialists. Under the supervision of the LIT Assistant Director, LITs will meet as a group regularly to attend workshops specially planned for them. Each LIT will have the opportunity to become CPR and First Aid Certified. Upon successful completion of the LIT Program, participants will receive a minimum of 45 community service hours and are eligible for a higher rate of pay as Assistant Counselors at Camp Shalom. 512-735-8100
Kidz Love Soccer - All Day Camp - Sport Complex - Cubberley (SCC)
Kidz Love Soccer All Day Camp Spend a week enjoying the worlds most popular sport in a fun, recreational environment. Learn and practice soccer skills including: dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and defense. Everyone is a winner as the weeks fun culminates in an age-appropriate World Cup tournament. All-day campers will stay for lunch and more fun in the afternoon. After lunch they will enjoy more soccer, soccer movies, and tabletop soccer games. Each day will reinforce the skills we learned by ending the day with a full soccer match. All campers will receive a soccer ball and jersey. All-day campers should bring a full water bottle (1.5 liter minimum), a healthy snack and a bag lunch. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR SHIN GUARDS. SOCCER SHOES AND SUNSCREEN ARE RECOMMENDED. SeaPerch ROV - LCMM Campus: Vergennes/Basin Harbor
Built a Custom Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and Explore Lake Champlain! Using a SeaPerch ROV kit we will learn how to assemble, solder, wire, and fly an ROV. We will use our ROVs to explore the bottom of Lake Champlain and learn how nautical archeologists and scientists use ROVs to study shipwrecks and the aquatic life of the lake. 802-475-2022
Wright Skills Girls Basketball Camp, Grades 3-12 - South Orange Middle School
Wright Skills Basketball Camp is a camp for girls entering grades 3-12 in September, 2016. The camp will focus on basketball fundamentals. Players will be grouped according to age and/or skill level. Activities will challenge players to improve their agility, develop their offensive and defensive skills, and build confidence. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, an evaluation and compete for prizes. This camp meets from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Thursday, July 25-28 and/or August 1-4. Players are invited to attend one or two weeks. The camp will take place at the South Orange Middle School Gym. This camp is under the direction of Jazmine Wright. Jazmine was a 4 year varsity letter winner at Columbia High School. Her team won two Essex County Championships, 2 State Championships, and a berth at the Tournament of Champions final. During her time at Columbia, she became the all-time leading scorer (male or female) and leading rebounder for the girls? team. She garnered All-Area, All-Conference, All-County, All-State, and All-America honors while playing at Columbia. Coach Wright continued her career at Syracuse University, where she played in the Big East Conference and in the NCAA tournament. Upon graduating college, she...
