Head-Royce School Summer Program Returning Counselor Position - Head-Royce School
Job Responsibilities include: -Assisting children as they transition on adn off the campus as well as in the classroom, ultimately supporting a positive and effect learning environment. -Following the lead of the classroom teacher and helping with transitions, group work, classroom set-up and helping get supplies and materials ready for each school day. -Helping student to eh pool, helping in the locker room before and after swimming while also assisting the pool staff with student needs. -Supporting the mission of the program and the needs of the teachers and children in all ways reasonable and within the parameters of the position. -Where appropriate, participate in all activities with campers, including specialty classes, free swim, camp meetings and cheers, etc. -Facilitate activities by taking an active role in facilitating a variety of games, sports, arts & crafts, etc. -Provide conflict-management mentoring to students. -Respond to parent and children concerns in an effective, professional manner. -Abide by the guidelines for expectations, behavior and attitude set forth by Summer Program Director, Mikki Frazier. - 5105311300 x2500

Teen Camp Session 2 - Bolles Whitehurst Campus
Bolles Teen Camp provides exciting activities that will challenge the energies of campers that are entering grades 7 and 8. This fantastic camp is a great way for teens to get out of the house and meet new friends. Teen Camp will utilize the facilities of the beautiful and spacious Bolles San Jose Campus with activities taking place in the swimming pool, gymnasium, athletic fields and the St. Johns River. In addition to experiencing fun-filled days of canoeing, kayaking, boating, tubing, swimming, sports, archery and arts and crafts our teens will enjoy a weekly fun field trip off campus to either the movies, bowling alley, trampoline park or other location. The camp tuition fee you select will cover your campers time at Bolles from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday in addition to a daily hot lunch, weekly field trip fee and camp t-shirt. *Extended care options, one week sessions and Ponte Vedra Campus transportation options are available below. Advanced Computer Camp - Pi Edition - Transylvania University
Experienced computer students are given the opportunity to work on advanced projects. This camps theme will involve the Raspberry Pi computers as a low-cost experimenters platform. Morning and afternoon programming sessions will begin with a short lecture, then you will be allowed to address several challenges in response to the topic covered in the lecture. Learn at your own pace, but instructors will be available to help if you have questions or problems. Evening sessions are reserved for independent work and network gaming. During camp, participants will live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet service will not be available in the dorm rooms. Campers must have attended a previous Transylvania computer camp or taken some programming classes at your high school. If you do not have this background, please consider registering for our Introduction to Computer Programming Camp, scheduled for June 12-17. Enrollment is limited to 35 campers. The application deadline is May 1 and confirmations will be sent by May 15. If you are not selected for camp, your camp fee will be refunded. 859-233-8300
