Let the magical world of words take your child to a different place each day. Fancy Nancy, Bonjour Butterfly leads the week with the construction of a club house and exploring the butterfly cycle. Tuesday will be inspired by Gingerbread Baby and the making of gingerbread ornaments. Eric Carle takes the lead on Wednesday as we read the Mixed-up Chameleon and mix primary colors for an art project. We will learn about dinosaurs on Thursday inspired by Skippyjon Jones and the Big Bones and round off the week with Lets Go Rock Collecting touching rough and smooth rocks and ending the week by doing a charcoal self portrait. 7024070790.0

In this class, students will participate in a variety of public speaking activities, composing their speeches, and presenting to an audiences. Lego EV3 Robotics - Universalist Unitarian Church - Arlington
Lego EV3 Robotics (Ages 8 through 12) This program introduces students to the exciting world of robotics. Students will use the Lego Mindstorms EV3 elements to program their robots to solve a series of challenges everyday. They will build using motors of different power and experiment with touch, ultrasonic, gyro, and color sensor to play fun games such as hockey and sumo wrestling. Lessons will cover topics in computer science, technology, engineering, math, and science. Campers will learn fundamentals of programming blocks such as loops, conditional operations, and the use of variables to store sensor values; and will learn how to program remote control, create parallel programming, and use computers, Bluetooth, and other technologies to connect with their robots. After mastering the basics of Lego EV3 building and programming, students will be immersed in a series of challenging Mars missions: launch the satellite, collect rocks, activate communications, save the robot, secure the power supply, and return to base safely. Learn the sport of archery, an art that has been practiced through the ages all around the world! For all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, we will go through one week of fun, games, and competition to improve your shooting skills. Camps - Camp Odyssey - Wood, Earle B. Middle School
Middle school and high school teens with developmental disabilities. Designed for campers who require a low-sensory, less-active camp environment. Special theme days and activities, games, crafts, and field trips adapted for group interaction and relaxation. Limited personal care provided (i.e. assistance with changing).
