Footsteps Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp is an opportunity for extended Mandarin immersion. While having a fantastic time, your child will begin to acquire the ability to use Mandarin correctly and confidently in various daily tasks and social situations. Our dynamic, experienced staff is either native speaking or fluent. Campers spend each day moving from one activity to the next, designed to provide an immersion experience while still allowing for a ton of fun. Your child will love exploring the language and traditions of China by tasting authentic Mandarin cuisine—using Chinese words, of course, and learning about and creating traditional Mandarin arts and textiles and taking field trips to expand your childs knowledge. A week or more of camp will help boost your childs language ability! There is a weekly field trip and special event. Two healthy snacks are provided each day. Creative Kids Drop-In Winter Culinary Camp
Our 3rd day of camp, the students will prepare some fun and festive appitizers perfect for New Year's Eve! They will get to take home a selction to share with family and friends while ringing in the new year. Kid-friendly favorites such as pigs in a blanket, meatballs, cheese straws, and homemade ranch dip for veggies. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Learning areas: history, social studies, science, math, kitchen safety. Limit: 10 students Suggested ages: 6+ (younger are welcome with adult helper present) Warning: not an allergy-free event! Nuts will be present as well as wheat. Cost: $15 per child, per class.

College Soccer Academy is holding a College ID Camp at the So Cal Sports Complex in Oceanside, California. There will be college coaches from Cal, and other schools TBD, running the sessions. Division I, II, and III coaches will be attendance to scout and recruit the event. A great opportunity to get seen by numerous coaches and learn great deal to take your game to the next level! (There will be specific goalkeeper training both days) Tuesday: 9AM-3PM Wednesday: 9AM-4PM ***There is a $50 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel 45 days or less before the start of camp, you will be charged 50% of your registration. We will visit the National Constitution Center for a special, opening day tour of the traveling exhibit, Headed to the White House. The new exhibit is designed to take visitors from the campaign trail to Inauguration Day, as it explores all aspects of a U.S. presidential election through a variety of media including role-playing opportunities, artifact exploration and more. The multi-faceted experience gives visitors both the opportunity to learn about past candidates in iconic historical elections and to also become a candidate themselves in a simulated presidential election experience. A tasty, mid-morning snack will be served. Upon our return to TPS, students will have the opportunity to design their own campaign button. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. Students are required to wear a red t-shirt on all trips. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). **Extended day is available from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20.
