Youth who have specific medical conditions or special needs can also have a summer camp experience. There are programs designed to bring together youth who may not fit into a traditional setting. For example, there are groups for children battling cancer as well as programs for children with diabetes.

UH Campus Rec Kid's Triathlon - Houston, TX
Hey guys. We are in need of volunteers to help out at the Kid's Triathlon the university is hosting. This is a fun all day event on April 19th with several volunteer shifts to help fit your schedule! If you'd like to help make this a great experience for the young ones, please comment/post on this event telling us when you can volunteer. The shifts are: - 4:45am - 9am (this will entail mostly set up and concessions) - 9am – 1pm (concessions and help with trash pick-up during event) - 1pm – 4pm (concessions and help with trash pick-up during event) - 4pm – 7pm (concessions, tear down and help with trash pick-up during event) The more volunteers we get to help out with the event the better it helps support the club. We hope all of you can come out and help with this amazing event. Invite your friends and family as well! See y'all there!

I live for music. Everywhere I turn opportunities present themselves to me and I make fast decisions because things happen fast in the entertainment business. I recently learned that the business that currently houses my teaching studio is moving their enterprise to a new facility and selling the building. Soon. Therefore, I am being pro-active, now. Change is good. I need a change too. As it stands, my career and student base are growing, but my studio space is not. In order to do more amazing things for my students and the community, I started a search for a bigger, better, more creatively inviting space. Coincidentally, a like-minded creative thinker is expanding our local arts community with a vision of making our city a better place to live, by renovating an old building called the Gear Factory. I want in on the ground floor (basement floor actually) of this new opportunity. For the future of this endeavor, In addition to my private lessons, I want to offer - 1) Parent/child lessons so DAD and SON and/or MOM and...
Blackwatch Teen Adventure: Back into the Night - Burlington, MA
The call goes out as it always does. The Blackwatch must gather. Whatever intrigues and perils await must be endured...for the Nightlands beckon. Pre-registration and costuming required for this interactive adventure. Foam swords provided. For ages 13-19. This is our 1st "Winter" Youth Camp...make plans to bring your Youth groups and be with us for this series of meetings...a line up of speakers for the meetings is listed in the photo...this Camp is not only for the 'Youth', but for all ages!! At the Netcast Basketball Camp students will receive a superior basketball camp experience thats educational and fun. With lectures, drills, stations and competitive games; our camp is designed to create an atmosphere where basic fundamentals and skills are developed for all of our campers. In addition to being basketball specific, the camp is designed to teach fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship while reinforcing positive life values. Our coaching staff is led by Matt Chewning who is a former All-Conference Collegiate Basketball Player; as well as a staff that consists of current and former players with collegiate experience. 978 525 6244

No previous experience is needed, but an interest in the ocean and being active is a must. This class is perfect for new or returning students.
