SJCP Summer Camp 2016 - Mitchell, IN
Our annual summer camp for youth going into 4th grade through College Freshman in the Fall. There will be fellowship, prayer, teaching, singing, games, a climbing wall and zip-line, refreshing pool and water slide, pickup soccer, football, frisbee, basketball, and volleyball games, and a talent/no talent show - all in beautiful Southern Indiana! It will be a week filled with wonder, and one you won't soon forget - don't miss it for the World! Send a Kid to Camp Phone Bank - undefined, undefined
Greetings, friends! We want you to be a part of the Fox 61 “Send a Kid to Camp” Phone Bank, benefiting Hartford’s Camp Courant. The Phone Bank will air live from Fox 61 and WCCT (CW) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 beginning from 9a.m. to 10a.m. and then returning from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Your support of this campaign will help Hartford’s Camp Courant and Fox 61 further their missions to support education-based programs for children throughout the greater Hartford community. Our goal is to raise $100,000 during the live four-hour televised fundraiser, which will help to enhance the summer experience for nearly 1,000 Hartford children this year. We have a long standing, aligned and focused partnership with Fox 61 who is dedicated to making a positive difference. Everything they do in the community will link directly to their mission of HOPE (Helping Organizations Promote Education) where they will focus their resources to maximize impact. FOX 61 builds bridges between Connecticut companies, nonprofit organizations, citizens and leaders to cultivate collaborative partnerships to inform, educate and inspire their viewers. Cardinal Mens Basketball Day Camp Week 2 2015 - UIW Richard and Janet Cervera Wellness Center
The Cardinals Camp works to improve skills through individual instruction, drills, lectures and games. We feel the staff-camper ratio is very important and maintain a ratio of one coach for each 10 campers. Camp staff will instruct campers on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and shooting as well as both individual and team offensive and defensive strategies. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp Dates: * Week 1 - June 6th - 10th (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp * Week 2 - June 27th - July 1st (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration, Walk-ins, Drop-Off and Pick Up will be held at the UIW Convocation Center. Our Forest Kindergarten program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions. Proper dress and an adventurous, curious spirit is essential... and we know thats what kids do best! 978-463-2233

11 sessions, 11 meals, and 4 nights. USA Partner Camp - up to 5% of our camp can be recommended to the USA Futures Program.
