July 18-21, Pioneer Camp, 9:30am-noon, $60 Have you ever wondered how the Pioneers lived long ago? This camp will allow you to experience many of the daily experiences of that time period bringing history to life. Print on a printing press, weave on a loom, learn how a blacksmith creates metal objects, dip candles and play with old-fashioned toys. Explore the items in “Grandmother’s Trunk” and learn how they were used, and cook on the hearth in Har-Ber Village’s Living History Cabin.

Campus Life Gives Back: Cadyn's Hope - Mason City, IA
Inflatables, extreme slip'n'slide kickball, music, and pizza. ! Campus Life is excited to kick the year off by giving back!! We're hosting a one of a kind, crazy, never done before benefit for Cadyn Hanson (high school students only). Cadyn is going to be a Sophomore at MCHS. When Cadyn was three he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unfortunately the cancer has returned. While most of us are taking tests, Cadyn will be fighting for his life- lets show him that he's not fighting alone. Come, bring your love and cash if you have it and help us make it rain for Cadyn. We'll be raffeling off a limo ride, a Reel Skateboard from Subsect Skateshop, a gift card to Cinema West, and more!! You can also pay for your friend to play the grossest club games around! It began in 1997 and has spread across the U.S. with over 1,700 performances in 40 states and a dove award nomination for children's album of the year. SC2016: Hermit Crab Crawl-Down Week - Sanibel Flagship Campus
Hey, I like my house.. but I like yours more. Think Ill take it! Yep, thats a hermit crab for you - always taking your stuff! Lets capture a few of them and see what shells they prefer and why. Does a hermit prefer a sturdy fortress of a shell or a light easy-to-run with shell? Well track them by their trails and see where they go. Then of course, we have to build our own houses - light or sturdy- and protect them from other marauding hermits. And by the way, whats the difference between an ocean hermit crab and a land hermit crab? And have you ever seen pictures of crazy-big land crabs that use coconuts for shells?!! You will. Are your campers ready for this adventure? With their team they will explore the Refuge and find themselves challenged to survive a week in the Pines. Campers will build a survival shelter in the woods, use a map and compass, go in search of the Jersey Devil and see some animals too! The week long day camp offers a wide variety of sports and activities for campers to participate in. Activities included are: basketball, swimming, soccer, volleyball, tennis, ping pong, kick ball, arts and crafts, and others. All activities take place on the beautiful Hayward campus of Cal State East Bay. A daily lunch is provided and if there are any dietary needs just let us know and we can accommodate your camper. The only equipment that your camper will need to bring are: swim suit, towel, goggles (if preferred), snacks, and shoes to be active in (sandals are highly discouraged).
