LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Elite Camp - University of Nebraska
This camp is designed to be an intense camp for in-going grades 6th-12th who wish to prepare themselves for high school, college or beyond. Fundamental skill development on offense, defense and conditioning principles for all positions on the floor will be stressed. Both individual and team play development will be improved by attending this camp. Many of the same drills and techniques used by Coach Yori and her staff at Nebraska will be taught. Elite Camp begins in the evening of June 1 at 7:00pm. Registration for overnight campers will begin at 5:45pm and Commuter Campers at 6:30pm. The camp runs all day on June 2-3 and concludes at 4:00pm on June 3. If your camper is also registered for Skills Camp on June 1, there will be a dinner break and the Elite Session will begin at 7:00pm. Campers CAN register for both the Skills Camp and the Elite Camp! 402-415-8458

I love this camp for my kids because they were able to go and have a great time while staying safe, but the best part is that they get to come home at night and tell us all about their adventurous day. I love hearing about the laughs and the good times and hearing how awesome the staff is. We really couldn't ask for a better day camp for our kids. Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Using MIG welders, metal saws, hot and cold bending systems, and grinders, youll begin to master the basics of welding and metal fabrication. This weeks welders will work in the spirit of Claes Oldenburg, an American artist made famous for creating giant public art pieces of oversized everyday objects: a giant eraser, a tube of lip stick, a hand saw. SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Lego Animation Session II: July 11 to July 22 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session.
