Too Much Fun For One Summer
I was worried about what to do with the kids this summer because of my new job. Thanks to Camp Radians I didn't have to worry. They had so much fun every week. Between the swimming (which they can't get enough of) and the museum field trips I feel like they had extended recess. I also like the focus on culture through crafts and food. Little League Camp Week 2 - Sunken Diamond
The Stanford Baseball School (Part ONE), along with the Stanford Games Camp (Part TWO), are designed to be taken simultaneously by those that enjoy and have a passion for the game. Participants will first be grouped by age, ability, and prior experiences. During the morning instructional session throughout each week, participants will be coached in several baseball skills, fundamentals, and team concepts. Members of the camp will receive instruction in a variety of areas including hitting, infield play, outfield play, pitching, catching, rundowns, double plays and base running. Finally, everyday campers will hit in our hitting facility. In the Games Camp (Part TWO) players are grouped by age and ability and teams are formed. Teams play against one another in a coach pitched game where the goal is to see that ball put into play. Emphasis on strengthening skills and fundamentals of basketball is key. 110% effort will be requested of all campers as they challenge one another with friendly competitions and games. Individual skill drills include: shooting, dribbling, rebounding, passing, defense and offensive moves. Team/Group skill drills include: team offense/defense, moving without the ball, rebounding/blocking out. Campers will be challenged each day to compete at their highest level while incorporating friendly competition.
