Parents should give youth some space before they try and debrief with their children. A camper may need some time to transition back to home life and a different schedule. Going from an active schedule to home life can be jarring and emotional. It is wise to take a child out to eat the first night they are back and try something active like heading out for mini-golf or to a movie. Quality time helps parents reconnect with their children.

Outdoor Youth Day - West Palm Beach, FL
(FSCA) Florida Sportsmen's Conservation Association 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Our Annual event is scheduled for February 6,2016 at the Everglades Youth Camp in J W Corbett WMA. We are expecting over 1,500 children of all ages to come and enjoy various activities. In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children's interest in the outdoors, FSCA has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a Program specifically designed to educate children to many different recreational activities available in our natural areas but munch more importantly have some fun outdoors. This is the 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day event and It’s FSCA biggest day of the year. Youth Day has buggy rides, canoeing, pony rides, airboat rides and displayed, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. 2015 End of Summer Guys Youth Camp - Gatlinburg, TN
This is the first youth camp hosted by St. Nofer Youth Meeting. We will be going to Gatlinburg, TN. The Cabin reserved is located in Gatlinburg on one of the highest peaks and the views of Mt. Le Conte are just spectacular, downtown Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg ski resort by day and the beautiful city lights by night. We will have 2 Lectures, PEP talks, spiritual discussions, chats among the youth, a lot of entertainments using the cabin features, all that aside from touring around the city. This Camp will be a guys only camp. Dates: September 25th – 27th (LEAVE FRIDAY at 5:00 PM— RETURN SUNDAY at 8:00 PM) The cost is $85/person (3 days, 2 nights) The cost includes: Cabin, Transportation, and Food Note: TBD attraction (additional cost will be added depending on the attraction).
