Holiday Kids Fitness Camp - Monroeville, PA
Are you looking for an activity for your kids during Christmas Break? We will be offering a HOLIDAY KIDS CAMP. The cost is $60/week per child aged 3-10 and we will have a pizza party for the kids on the last day. We will provide a light snack and drink during the sessions. Please contact us at 412-373-2790 to reserve your spot! PARENTS DO NOT NEED TO STAY during the camp and your child does not need to be a current member at the gym. This is open to all local children. Threes (M/W/F) (birthdays between 9/1/12 and 8/31/13) - JCC ECP
Daily activities for children who are in the three-year-old program are based upon projects and units of study that are interesting and meaningful to those children. A balanced schedule provides experiences in group and individual settings and includes stories, music, language experiences, natural discovery, and inquisitive discussions that include research. Classrooms are arranged into centers that include educational toys, materials, and games based upon age appropriateness and the interests of the children. These include centers for books, blocks, sensory materials, art, puzzles and manipulatives, math, science, and dramatic play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in these centers individually, with a friend, or in small groups. Choosing centers provides practice in making decisions, following directions, working independently, and learning about the care and use of materials. Outside time offers opportunities for gross motor development (including climbing, running, jumping, pedaling, and building), social interactions, as well as a chance to experience weather and seasons. Children can also experiment with sand and water during these outside periods. Daily group times provide opportunities for your child to learn in a large group setting. Open Studio for Kid n Me - Hopkinton Center for the Arts
Open Studio for Kid n Me (ages 1+) offers parents and caregivers a great opportunity to get creative with your child and leave the mess for us! The HCA will provide a stimulating playground where you and your children can drop in at any time and play with paint and tactile materials to your hearts content. All supplies will be provided. We offer a weekly drop-in option for the most flexibility, but you may also register for a 3 week session to save! DROP IN: $25 for caregiver + child; $15 for additional siblings or second caregiver. A First Look at First Grade (Part 1 Language Arts) - Old Trail School
Do you ever wonder what you can do to give your child a head start in reading and writing for first grade? Come to A First Look at First Grade for a basic introduction to first grade reading and writing skills. Campers will have a fun-filled week getting to know what its like to be a first grade reader and writer.
