Grand Lake fall softball league is now accepting registrations forms. The league will start on August 21st and will play five weekend doubleheaders. The league is open to girls in the 3rd through 12th grades. The league will be divided into three different leagues: 3rd -5th will play in a machine pitch league, 6th – 8th graders will play in the jr. high division and 9th to 12th graders will play in the high school division. The cost is $100 for High School players and Jr. high players. The 3rd to 5th grade division is $79. The deadline to register is Aug 1st. The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. Come celebrate The Summer Camp with us! Open bar, free food, camp things and The Wooly DJ! TSC sends over 350 underprivileged girls (ages 6-18) from low-income and foster families to camp in Maine each summer. Unlike similar organizations, TSC brings campers back year after year. So the programming— and the community— grow with the campers. TSC also provides a literacy program to make sure that campers are reading at grade level as well as a mentorship program for “graduates." ADMISSION IS FREE (Donations to Make-A-Wish are encouraged and accepted.) Bring the kids and go table to table to find the camps and daycares that best fit your family's needs and interests. Boy Scouts Troop 114 is raising funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, April 7th. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Please share this event out with everyone you know who lives in the area; everyone is welcome and invited to join! Thank you all for supporting our boys. It takes a lot to get these kids to Colorado and we truly could not do this without your help!!!
