LATEST CAMPS NEWS: One Week Demigod Institute - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Students will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. This program involves an application process which is begun with your students registration. Not all applicants are accepted. applicants who are not selected will be invited to participate as campers (early bird rates) Our highly acclaimed Demigod Institute program fosters innovation in students who are preparing for university in a variety of fields. As part of a close-knit team, the program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants co-plan programs, lead quests, create collaborative innovative projects, assist in teaching activities, and share responsibility for the camp operations. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Kids After Schoo Core Cooking Camp, Ages 5-8 (Bellevue) - Bellevue, WA
This is a wonderful program that will lay the foundation for healthy eating by educating and empowering students (ages 5-8) about basic kitchen safety, creating a healthy balanced plate, how to subsititue ingredients to make meals healthier and so much more! Classes are sold in a session of four, are held on Wednesdays frm January 4th-25th and are two hours long. The first 30 minutes of each class is dedicated to nutrition education including games and activities. The remaining time is dedicated to cooking, eating, and cleanup. Our Core Cooking Program covers topics such as: Kitchen Safety, Cross-Contamination, Healthy Snacks, Fueling Your Body, Healthy Breakfasts, MyPlate Nutrition, Lunch N Munch, Healthy Cooking Substitutions of Kids’ Favorite Foods Activity sheets, recipes, helpful tips, and individual workstations for hands-on activity are included in the course. Football Camp K - 5th - SCDS
This football camp starts our young players with a love for the game and correct instruction to play the game. Young boys love to run and jump and play. Many of them also love to roll around and tussle. If you have such a boy, we would like to help him channel these natural inclinations into a love of the game of football, and to guide him in learning the fundamentals of how to run, throw, catch, kick, block, and tackle. Staffed by SCDS coaches and players the camp will guide youngsters toward an understanding of the basics. Campers will gain an understanding of football rules, terminology, and basic strategy. Each day will include individual instruction as well as competitive flag football games. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome and no equipment is required other than cleats/sneakers, athletic clothes and a willingness to play hard and have fun. Old Trail will join the Hudson Uniteds Co-ed Indoor Soccer Recreation league. All games will be played at NC Sports Center in Hudson. All practices will be at Old Trail School: Practices will start in the HMAC on Games will be on Saturdays, 2/27 , 3/5, 3/12, 4/2. 4/9, 4/16, and 4/23. Start times of the games will vary. Practices are on Thursday 2/18 , Mon. 2/22 and Thursdays 3/3, 3/10, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21 No practice week of MS spring trips 3/14-3/18 The fee for this program is $180, and will include all league and registration fees, a uniform jersey, and coaching. Fun tennis specific activities to develop balance, agility, ball tracking and hand/eye coordination.
