Broward Center - Session 2 (July 11, 2016-August 5, 2016) Group B. Suggested ages 10-13 years. Show: G2K The King and I Strong-willed, widowed schoolteacher Anna Leonowens arrives in Bangkok from Wales with her young son, Louis, after being summoned to tutor the many children of King Mongkut. The king wants the best for his children, but Anna soon discovers that he is a strong-willed but quixotic leader; and her stay in Thailand becomes a struggle for power with romantic overtones as they decide who will have authority over the royal youngsters. Ninja Obstacle Academy Huntsville is hosting a Ninja Kids Camp to support Kaitlyn's Running for Joy Fundraiser! The 3hr camp will cost $40 per child ages 6 and up! (The registration page says 7 and up but that is being changed) 50% of all proceeds will be donated to Kaitlyn's Running for Joy, Joy Jar fundraiser! There will be 40 slots available for this camp! Lacey Camp (Outdoor) - REGULAR Session 1 - 2016 - City of Hanford
Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Kids in the Kitchen Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. Chefs will immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family.
