Hosted by Jeremy and Joni McLarty. Saturday, November 5th. Eat at 12:00, draw for hunting spots at 1:30, hunt at 2:30 until dark (exact stopping time will be announced on day of hunt). All people who attend Beulah Church are invited to come eat and attend event, and any non-hunters are invited to hang out at the cabin during hunt. Open to any kids between the ages of 5 and 11 years-old who attend Beulah Church. All entries must have an adult who is over the age of 21 to accompany them on their hunt. All entries and accompanying adults must sign a release form on day of hunt. Limit one buck and one doe per kid. The hunt will be held at Jumper Lake this year, only a few miles from the church. Each participant is asked to bring their own ATV or 4-wheel drive truck if possible, if not then please let hosts know ahead of time so we can try to make arrangements for you. Learn to think quickly on your feet and act from the top of your head in this fun, silly, and engaging class. Play and perform favorite short form improv games, including those seen on TVs hit show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Students gain confidence in public speaking, expressing themselves using their body and voice, and facing fears of stage fright and performance anxiety. Jump in, be big and bold, laugh, and learn the basics of acting through the wild, wonderful world of improvisation! No experience necessary; come one and come all. Class culminates in an original improv show for family and friends; written, created, hosted, and performed by the students. (No materials required aside from your imagination.) Our Little River Otters program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions. Proper dress and an adventurous, curious spirit is essential... and we know thats what kids do best! 978-463-2233

The Princeton University Girls Ice Hockey High School is designed for High School (entering grades 9-12) players whose aspiration is to play competitive hockey at the collegiate level. This camp features 14 hours of ice time. Morning sessions will focus on the fundamentals of skill development and power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, and how to lengthen their stride. Puck protection, passing and scoring will be skills taught. The afternoon session will consist of and team play/concepts. Players will learn all aspects of team play and will develop skills through collegiate style practices. Coaching will parallel standards we teach to our college team. Games will be played Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday morning.
