You will spend an hour learning about the fundamentals of music, then move to the Science lab for some experimenting, have some lunch, and finally explore your creativity in the Art Studio. Teen Sewing Camp - Snohomish, WA
Projects designed specifically for teens ages 13-17... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week (Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm) and then having a "showcase" party on Friday July 31st from 12-2pm to show off what the teens have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***
Youth Campaign/Campaña De Jovenes - Lebanon, PA
July 28th, 29th and the 31st is the "Youth Campaign/Campaña de Jovenes". Its an event involving the youth held at my church for three days. Thursday&Friday both start at 7:30pm and on Sunday it starts at 12pm. I would like for you to come if you can make it.

We will meet by the tennis courts for a KICK BUTT boot camp style workout. Each station will bring a special challenge(modifications will be explained) Kids can take class too!!!! NO CHRISTMAS $........... ONLY $5 per person no need to bring anything but water and a yoga mat if you have RSVP PLEASE
4-H Teen Voices Retreat - New Windsor, IL
Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join Rock Island County 4-H for an interactive leadership retreat on Saturday, August 29 at Camp Summit in New Windsor. Teens will get to participate in team-building exercises, go zip-lining and other outdoor activities as well as give their input into ideas they would like to see for youth programs in the local community. Teens will learn ways they can use their interests and skills to develop their leadership, citizenship, presentation and organization skills by becoming in involved in the various 4-H Teen programs offered in Rock Island County.

Storytime Yoga PK-1 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Yoga helps the student find balance at any age, calming the mind and relaxing the body. This class helps bring active minds into union with active bodies in a non-competitive environment. Kids will learn new poses in a fun and playful way that stretches and strengthens their imaginations as well as their bodies. Mats are provided. Previous yoga experience is not required. There will be two classes: one for our youngest yogis and one for our older yogis. 202-724-8950

Ever had that urge to fold up that quiz that you didnt do so well on and send it ripping across the room, only to realize youd probably end up sitting in detention for your fine flight! Well have no fear, join Club Scientific for Flyin Fierce where it will be expected that youll fold a phenomenal flying machine and if you cant, then well show you how. Toys, darts, stunts, gliders, even balsa wood flyers will be the focus. No worries, well provide the protective eye wear! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Construction Chaos Think youre a problem solver? Believe you have engineering qualities such as designing, building and testing? Well Club Scientific is coming to test your abilities in all three areas with Construction Chaos! Each week youll design and build various structures, and then test each structure for success or failure! Whether they work (or not) youll have an incredible building experience. For students age 14–17, Teen Intensive Workshop is a 4-week intensive process of exploration and development, tackling challenging content rooted in physical theater methods.
