Join us for a fun week of imagination and creative travels to sea world! Campers will create a star fish bowl and unique wall art using multiple pottery techniques including coil, pinch and slab methods. Explore a new media and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Campers will get to experience using a pottery wheel on the last day of camp. Materials: A separate fee of $25 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp for art materials, clay, glazes and kiln supplies. Campers should bring a snack and water each day. The summer camp will be held in two one-week sessions designed to engage inner-city youth (ages of 8-18) by teaching, mentoring and coaching students to not only become solid athletes, but to help them develop into successful, productive human beings.

Healthy All Stars Adventure - Camp Tahigwa
The average child gets just 6 minutes of unstructured outdoors time per day, but were changing that at camp. Our Healthy All Stars will learn about being active, eating well, making healthy choices, building confidence, and standing up to bullies while participating in all of their favorite camp activities. 555-555-5555
Tournament and Belt Test - Important information - St. Marks Catholic School
Tournament start times 10:00 a.m. White, Gold, Green belt check-in 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Purple, Blue, Red, Brown belt check-in 12:00 p.m. Event timing example The White belts would be assigned a ring for testing. Green belts in another ring for sparring competition and the Gold belts would do Form competition in a third ring. When the events are done (approximately 20-30 minutes) they will rotate to another event. All awards will be done at ringside. Form Competition This is where students compete against one another by doing a form in front of a panel of Judges for points (weve been practicing in class). Form divisions are set by belt level. Judges look for intensity, Focus, strength, technique and attitude. The competitor with the most points wins 1st place etc. Tournament Champions There will be a Lower belt Champion (green belt and below) and an Upper belt Champion (purple and above). The competitors who win first place in both form and sparring events will be eligible for this event. This Is one of our Intergenerational camps with wonderful opportunities to explore together! Younger campers feel safer with their familiar adults around. Older campers get to relive the joys of discovery and pass along their faith traditions. This camp lets us spend some quality time with the grand-kids and make memories that will last a lifetime. Make connections through a variety of activities such as swimming, games, campfires, and Bible studies. Enjoy a two night stay in the lodge and an opportunity to share your stories.
