This class is designed for preschool to 2nd grade students. Youngsters will enjoy learning and singing popular childrens musical theatre classics, e.g. The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music. They will also be introduced to simple musical theatre dance steps, all in a gentle, relaxed environment. INSTRUCTOR HEATHER SANDERSON studied classical theatre at RADA in London and prior to moving to Alexandria acted extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area. As "Miss Heather", she is known locally for instilling a love of theatre - in particular Shakespeare - into the hearts of children. Her youth Shakespeare troupes have performed in D.C. and in the U.K. and her privately coached monologue students have performed at the Shakespeare Theatre, the Fords Theatre and numerous community and childrens theatres in the area. Heather may be familiar to fans of British television programs through her Tea with Heather segments on Maryland Public Televisions Afternoon Tea. Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. A more challenging 6 day/five night camp experience. While at camp campers will stay in our rustic tree houses that overlook the lake. Camp includes a 3 day/2 night trip to eastern Tennessee where campers will go on a guided white-water rafting trip on the Ocoee River. 662-234-3350
Memorial - BRIDGE Group - Endeavor Behavioral
The BRIDGE group is geared toward 4-6 year old children who are not ready for the structure and demands of a class setting, but needing peer and social interaction practice to prepare for school and peer environments. Taking turns, sitting on the floor in one spot, personal space, and accepting "no" are just a few of the skills to be mastered in this entertaining play setting. No class March 15th 713-461-7200

An introduction to the game of golf with emphasis placed on fundamentals of grip, posture, and alignment. Introduction to the rules and etiquette of the game will be explained. Students will learn the difference between iron shots and tee shots, in addition to chipping and putting. Fun competitions will be held with in the class in each aspect of the the game.
