MinecraftEDU is an expansive game that lets players design and create unique worlds with amazing structures. One of the more complicated aspects of MinecraftEDU is Redstone, which is MinecraftEDUs version of electrical circuitry. 2017 Teen Weekend - De Leon Springs, FL
Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to “teen issues,” “school issues,” and “How-to-be-a-friend” are led by pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dieticians and mental health professionals. We understand that networking and the support of a teen’s peers is critical at this age, so we provide fun and interactive activities such as a beach party, luaus, casino night, and a lot of land sports.

This course will focus on choral work and youll dive deeper into the art of listening as you build harmonies layered with solo moments. Song selection will come from around the globe as you discover your own creative singing voice. Youll be training like a professional through serious voice warm ups and voice manipulation while you sing through music genres such as the blues, rock, pop, gospel and vocal jazz. Youll work on stage presence and mic control as you figure out & break down what makes a great performance - which together youll create for a grand last day finale. All levels of singers, welcome! With the Mohonk Preserve and Mohonk Mountain House land as the arenas for exploration, Mountainside Adventures allows campers to have fun while hiking to new and exciting destinations each day. Campers will focus on developing their problem-solving skills through exciting team challenges and spend their days creating their own adventures along the trail. Days will be active with quiet time at the end of each day for reflection, be it sitting on a log in the forest or within the recess of a rock crevice. Tennis with Coach Rock PK (Wednesday) - Janney Elementary School
Your childs first experience with tennis will be great fun-- Coach Joce- lyn Rock will be using slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls as well as using a smaller court size with lower net. Her goal is to help young children gain confidence in tennis faster and realize the joy of sports. We will work on hand-eye coordination, tennis strokes, and cooperative play. Children will need their own sized 19-21 racquets or Coach Rock will have some to purchase. 202-724-8950

The Players Camp is a five-day, overnight program designed to give the higher-level junior player an opportunity to develop their game in preparation for high-school/collegiate/tournament golf. Learning sessions will include technical instruction in all parts of the game, course management and mapping, mental training, fitness education, nutrition habits, significant on-course playing time and college recruitment information. Each camper will receive one-on-one instruction with the Stanford Coaching Staff and other DI Coaches and Current Collegiate Players; space is limited for this camp.
