Teen Boot Camp - Rockford, IL
Do you have or know a hard to reach teen? Want your teen to learn discipline, teamwork, and respect? If so, bring him/her to my Teen Bootcamp! I'm an Army vet who knows the importance of these things. Let me teach your teen drill and ceremony, how to change a tire, how to communicate without using technology, and countless other important life skills. I will provide 45 minutes of life skills and 45 minutes of fitness during each session. Teen and parent must agree to participate in all eight sessions. Sessions will be held twice a week. Parents this is for you........Need to vent your concerns, need professional advice or guidance, need to know that you're not alone? Cultural Summer Camp at The CAKE Village - East Dundee, IL
INVITE FRIENDS WHO MAY BE INTERESTED. The CAKE Village African Culture camp is an immersive cultural experience. It's a great way for both Heritage learners and non-heritage learners to expand their knowledge of specific ethnic group from various parts of the African continent. Our goal is to foster a cultural connection to the chosen African ethnic group and enhance cultural awareness, appreciation and heritage esteem in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Matt Bonner Basketball Camp helps teach campers the fundamentals of basketball. This camp allows your child the opportunity to spend a week learning from New Hampshires only NBA player, Matt Bonner. Were going back to the Beach! An entire summer camp inspired by a tropical holiday. Well use sand clay & watercolors to make beach-inspired art, sculpt pottery hermit crabs, create our own shades with colored lenses and make a transparent jellyfish sculpture. Global Video Game Designer #2 - Middle School
Students shouldnt just be playing video games, they should be MAKING their own games using video cameras, sensors, and drawings. Students even get to remix what others have done to hack their games! By learning Scratch (designed by the brilliant folks at MIT), your child will get to impress you with his or her cool and original creations. Plus, your child will be doing a good deed while gaming, as with all Level Up Village classes, 30% of the profits go towards funding a Global Partner class of students who live in poverty. Using video chatting, your child and his or her global partner will get to hack into each others games! All the while, your child will be learning about math, logic, coding and presentation skills. Gymnastics - Beginner Gymnastics Camp - Jefferson County Community Center
In this camp, gymnasts will learn the proper fundamentals of gymnastics. Our fun filled lesson plans will keep the campers interested and excited about learning the basics of gymnastics. Gymnasts will work on skills using the beam, bars and springboard. Gymnasts will learn forward and backward rolls, bridges, handstands and cartwheels. This introduction to basic gymnastics is both fun and rewarding. Parents please provide snacks for your child, as we will be breaking daily for a snack.
