Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

Stop Motion Animation Class Spring - Villa Academy
In this 9 week course, Create your own story through the BEAM Experience! Using the process of creative problem solving, each week campers will learn to brainstorm ideas, outline, build, animate, and publish their own distinctive stop motion movie. Working in teams of 2-3, students will create a story based on ideas from their own imaginations and bring them to life one frame at a time. Adding your own unique cinematic score and dialogue truly brings the movie to life! Building and set materials include LEGO® bricks, recycled materials, cardboard, straws and architecture materials to fuel their imagination. Survivalist Hiker Add-On - Middle School
This outdoors-oriented camp provides an ideal introduction to scouting, teaching the basics of camping, hiking, and survival. Using the expansive 60 acre Portledge campus and adjacent Coffin woods, campers learn how to hike paths, pitch tents, ration supplies, find resources, make maps, and apply critical thinking skills not just to survive, but to thrive in the great outdoors.
