Open to beginners and students who have taken class this semester (Ages 8-12). $40 per student, $60 for sibling rate. Space is Extremely Limited, so make sure you book today. Summer Camp Week 10 Ages 4-7 - First Free Church
CAMP DETAILS Magical Adventures Does your child love magic? Have they ever wanted to fly on a broom or summon giant snowstorms all while singing their favorite song at the top of their lungs? Join Dream Big in a fun and exciting session filled with music AND magic. In this camp your child will create their own on-stage magic. With their improv skills, imagination and fun, they will build a world of their own to share with their friends and family at the end of the week. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from Wizard of Oz Were off to see the Wizard...and on our way to an incredible week! Join Dorothy, Toto, the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion on their adventure to Oz. Well sing and dance to our favorite songs, act out all the characters and perform our own mini-version of the timeless classic, The Wizard of Oz, at the end of the week. In this class, guided by GMLS art teacher Victoria Polyak, students will explore various art forms - drawing, painting, printmaking, cartooning, and sculpture. Children will learn about composition, value, color and will create a beautiful portfolio of artworks to treasure. This class includes all art supplies! Students explore electronics, coding, design and fashion as they create wearable technology. Theyll design clothing, interactive toys, and accessories that incorporate advanced electronic technologies. Design a shirt that integrates programming and sensors to monitor your heart rate, a wristband that tracks how many steps taken or calories burned, or light up shoes. Once you understand the basics of circuit design the possibilities are endless. Take home cutting edge gadgets that bring together craft, electronics, and programming. Muggsy Bogues Fundamental Basketball Camp: Week 1 - Crews Recreation Center
Local basketball legend Muggsy Bogues returns to Crews this summer with a pair of basketball camps for any children between the ages of 6-13. Muggsy and his staff of experienced counselors will teach campers a variety of different skills through games, tournaments and other activities. They will not only teach them the fundamentals of the game, but allow them to learn in a fun and positive environment! These week-long camps will last from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Lunch is provided.
