What to Avoid Packing for Summer Camp?
Summer camp is a great chance for kids to stay active and meet new friends. Thus, children are usually asked to leave values at home, including electronics. Camp life includes a lot of activity and it would be easy for iPods, gaming consoles, and other items to be lost or damaged. Instead of staying plugged in, camp is a wonderful time for kids to detox from such items. Of course, if a child is going to a technology program, a laptop might be acceptable.
To keep everyone safe, fireworks, weapons, and illegal drugs and other items need to stay home....

We teach you the basics for learning to sew and you will complete a few projects. This is also good for those familiar with a sewing machine and want to build their skills. Ignite Summer Youth Camp 2016 (ISYC) - Huntsville, Texas (Forest Glen Camp) - June 13-17, 2016 - Join Catalyst Youth Ministries (of Livingway Church), Pastor Brandon, Pastor Mandy, Pastor Lindsey and Ignite Leadership Team as we host our first ever summer camp! For years we have heard, "When are you going to have your own camp?" and "Let us know when you start your camp and we are there!" Well, now is that time! Our team of 25+ leaders have been planning, strategizing and preparing since September of last year for this 5 days of Holy Ghost anointing and EPIC fun! - All young people 12 -18 years old are eligible - $275* per young person (all inclusive) - Price includes 5 Day Camp, 11 meals, A/C dorms, sports tournaments/activities, archery, swimming, the BLOB (on the lake), zip line and ropes course, powerfully anointed services & much more! *Are you a member of Livingway or Catalyst? PowerHouse Regional Youth Conference - Milford, IN
The PowerHouse regional youth conference will return to Camp Mack again this year, providing a weekend of worship, workshops, music, recreation, and more for senior high youth in the Midwest and their advisors. The Church of the Brethren BVS and Workcamp staff will provide leadership for the weekend on the theme "Plug In: to God, each other & the world" based on 3 John 1:13-14. Cost is $80 for youth, $70 for advisors and will go up $10 if you register after October 21. Registration is LIVE at www.manchester.edu/powerhouse. We hope you can join us Nov. 12-13 for this fun and faith-filled weekend!
