Each day is a new adventure! Campers will spend the morning traveling to a variety of locations and enjoy an afternoon creating works of art that directly relate to that days adventure. Campers will visit the magical Akron Civic Theatre, wild Akron Zoo, beautiful Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, fascinating Akron Art Museum and fun Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway. It has become the largest full-gospel camp in America reaching over 20,000 each summer. Pastors Tommy and Rachel Burchfield have dedicated over twenty-five years to building the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Their home and ministry headquarters is Country Camp in Columbus, Texas where gathering churches, loving pastors and networking leaders have earned them international respect. Their children, Andrew, Peter, and Abby are also involved in ministry. Discovery Camp's resides on a a 1,088-acre Christian retreat center and ministry headquarters located in Columbus, Texas. The campus includes housing for 1100 campers, full recreational facilities and summer resident quarters for over 200 staff employees, interns, and ministry families. Calling all cooks! Campers will spend the week harvesting, washing, grating, peeling, chopping, mixing and best of all – tasting! Our Small Chefs learn to become comfortable with following recipes and using kitchen utensils. They are also encouraged to throw out the recipes and follow their taste buds! Welll focus on preparing a wide variety of dishes that feature produce from Arcadia Farm, and utilize Arcadia Farm Camp recipes as well as those from the Arcadia Mobile Market Cookbook. 1 410 533 5684

Week 6 3 Half Days AM Westport Summer All Sports Camp - Greens Farms Elementary School
For Boys and Girls ages 4-12 We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups.
