Watch out! Its shark attack! In Invader Defense: Shark Attack, we will create our own version of an invader defense game that will allow us to protect a coral reef from hungry sharks. We will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard and outline the rules of play for our game. The we will use Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (R) to bring our storyboard to life with programming. At the end of class, everyone takes home a woring Windows-compatible game. 904-256-5071

The Dorman summer football camp is a non-contact camp designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of football to rising 2nd - 8th graders. The entire Dorman varsity football coaching staff, as well as all of our middle school coaches, will be instructing players in every facet of the game, including many of the same drills done by the Varsity Cavaliers. • Camp begins Monday, June 6th at 8:00am. Registration will begin at 7:30 each morning. Camp runs 8:00am-12:00pm daily • Camp dates are June 6th through June 9th • PRE-REGISTERED CAMPERS RECEIVE A $10 DISCOUNT Pre-registration cost is $80.00 (Before May 20, 2016) After May 20, Registration is $90.00 (including on day of camp) Camp registration includes: instruction, t-shirt, daily food items including breakfast and lunch, camp photo, certificate, bag, etc. • Rising 6th, 7th & 8th graders will choose one offensive and one defensive position to work throughout the week. Pattern-Making Fundamentals - Manhattan - Esaie Couture Design School
Learn how to draft sewing patterns with flat pattern-making techniques. This course will give you all the basic skills you need to learn how to read and understand patterns and how to create your own pattern styles, using your own measurements to create a custom fit. Students will also learn about how to do simple alterations and changes to this basic pattern, aka the sloper (the fashion term for your basic pattern block). This is a great class for those with no skills in pattern-making or for those who sew and might have made clothes but with no technical training. This four-week course gives you a foundation and pattern-making understanding that you will be able to use once you have completed the course. 347-295-0022
